Psychological services at Good Therapy focus primarily on comprehensive psychological and ADHD assessments for youth ages 18+ and adults. Psychological assessment services involve the use of standardized tools and techniques to evaluate an individual's cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning. These assessments are conducted by a licensed psychologist and may include interviews, questionnaires, and various tests to gather comprehensive information about a person's mental health, personality traits, and specific psychological concerns. The purpose of psychological assessments is to provide a clearer understanding of an individual's strengths and challenges, diagnose mental health disorders, inform treatment planning, and monitor progress over time. These services can be beneficial for a range of individuals, including those seeking therapy, undergoing educational evaluations, or needing comprehensive assessments for legal and occupational reasons.

Are you looking for ways to squeeze in an appointment without having to factor in the extra time and cost of commuting? Virtual counselling services allow clients to receive mental health treatment consultations safely and conveniently in our on-line office or over the phone. Virtual sessions share many of the features and benefits of our in-person appointments with the advantage of remaining in the comfort of your home or office. Virtual counselling is an ideal way to continue your treatment process during physical distancing but also for those with busy schedules; those with physical/mobility limitations; students away at school; or for anyone feeling unwell but still wishing to access support. These services are provided regularly within the province of Ontario. Our therapists also offer virtual services in several other provinces across Canada during a State of Emergency.
